Who WE Are
The Hugh O'Conor Memorial Pipe Band is composed of a group of bagpipers and drummers, with members primarily based in Arizona. The band traveled to Ireland in 2023 to compete in the All Ireland Pipe Band Competition, and regularly performs concerts throughout the Phoenix area, including marching in the Phoenix St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
In August 2025, the band proudly represented Arizona at the Interceltic Festival of Lorient in Lorient, France, joining performers from across the Celtic world in one of the largest festivals of its kind.
A big thank you goes to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community for helping make this international experience possible through support from the Arizona Benefits Fund from Tribal Gaming.

Join Us for an Irish/Celtic Music and Dance Concert!
Location: Phoenix Center for the Arts, 1202 N. 3rd St., Phoenix.
Date and Time: Sunday, June 7th,, 2025, 1:00 pm till 3:00. Doors open at 12:30pm
Admission: $25.00 general and $20.00 to members of the Irish Cultural Center. Kids under 12 are FREE!
Tickets: Tickets can be purchased through the Irish Cultural Center website or at the door.
Program: 50 to 60 minutes of piping and drumming, a Trad group, a drum salute, dancers and singing. There will be a 20-minute intermission followed by a second 20-minute performance.

The Hugh O’Conor Memorial Pipe Band, founded in 2006 and incorporated as a 501c3, is positioning itself to compete in the Southwest and in Ireland. There is no better time to back “The Green.”
